Fantasy Tour Stage 15: Froome Blows Them Away on Ventoux

Hello. The peloton got to take a rest after yesterday's adventures up Mount Ventoux, so I figured I deserved a rest too. I suppose I better get around to filling you in on what happened on Stage 15, although if you don't already know, you probably don't care........ So Chris Froome won, and there was only little Nairo Quintanna who could get anywhere close.

I may have called it a bit prematurely after stage 8, but this time it really does look like the Froome-Dog has the race sewn-up. Even if his team are looking a bit scrappy these days. Of course, a performance like Froome's yesterday is bound to cause some suspicion as he hardly looked like he was trying at all. Look at that cheery smile.

Such was the action over at the CyclingNews idiots comments section, they even broke the website for a little bit. Anyway, just so you don't have to sift through hundreds of stupid postings, here's one that sums it up pretty well.

Maybe his is, maybe he isn't. I certainly have no idea either way and until I hear something to the contrary I'm going to have to give him the benefit of the doubt. I've been watching the Tour for 25 years now, so I've seen some very dodgy editions of the race. One thing I have learned is that if someone is a doper, some evidence will come out sooner or later. So we'll just have to sit back and wait.....

Anyway, as far as the Fantasy Tour goes, all points are final. As long as your boy doesn't get found out during the race, your points are safe. Kings o' the Points for yesterday were the Kloefekappers, which brings them alarmingly close to overhauling the Bile Beans. There's still them Chanbots on top.

This next one should be a fairly gentle one for the GC boys, that run-in to Gap can be a bit tricky though. If I remember correctly, it's that one where Lance Armstrong ended up in a field that one time.
