Happy 4th of July! I celebrated by doing my annual run, eating red-meat and getting drunk. Unfortunately it's been a bit wet today, so fireworks fun was denied. At least I still have both my eyes.
Chances are more sprinting tomorrow. Don't worry though, we get some hills over the weekend.
More sprinting today and another stage winner. This time it was Andre Greipel who was the fastest, thanks to a fine lead-out from his team.
And there was a change in race leader, as Daryl Impey took over the Yellow Jersey from team-mate Simon Gerrans. So now we can think of Impey as the first ever African Yellow Jersey, instead of that guy that Teo Bos took ou at the Tour of Turkey.
Kings of the day were Huntingdon Pharma, but those Kloeffekappers are still leading the overall. The Bile Beans are hanging in there, but the loss of Jurgen Van Den Broeck today could cost me dear.
