Giro 2014 Stage 20 - Micky Masters Mountain Mayhem

We were treated to an awesome spectacle as the race headed up the Zoncolan.

But as is often the case in a big (and probably slightly drunk) crowd, there's always a few dickheads who spoil it for everybody. Today, it was the turn of Francesco Bongiorno have his day spoiled by some knob-end. The aforementioned knob-end tried to give the Italian a friendly push up the fearsome hill, but only succeeded in forcing him to stop and so left the way open for Micky Rogers to win another stage.

We're getting a bit used to seeing the crowds on the big climbs getting close, but it's worth remembering that cycling is not the only sport where a drunken spectator can get in on the action.

Kings of the Zoncolan were Pretty in Pink.

Stage 21 is a mere formality unless you happen to be one of the few sprinters left in the race. The real action is going to come from the end of tour points, which will decide who takes the Fantasy a Giro crown.

Giro 2014 Stage 19 - No Quitting From Quintana

After yesterday's time trial, we've only got today's trip up the Zoncolan left before we can say that Nairo Quintana has the Giro sewn-up. I'm going to steam in right now though and say that the boy from Colombia has done enough to win the race.

The Ollysaurus had the most points for the day.
