Grio 2014 Weekend Round Up - The Uranator Still on Target

With stage 16 already underway, it occurs to me that it's about time that I covered stages 14 and 15.  Of course I would have done it sooner, but the Blogger's Union takes a dim view of people who work over a holiday weekend and I didn't want to be branded a scab.

So, stage 14 was a win for Enrico Battaglin, who you may remember from last year. 

And stage 15 went to another Italian hope for the future, Fabio Aru.

The GC contenders had mixed fortunes.  Evans looks to be struggling and Uran lost a little bit of time, but not a whole lot.  The other big-hitters are running out of time to take over the Pink Jersey.

In socreland, the Charmers were best on Saturday.
