Giro 2014 Stage 13 - All Hail Canola

Just when we thought that nothing could stop Nacer Bouhanni, he fell foul of the biggest trap there is in professional cycling. No,  I'm not talking about the challenging weather in Europe in may.

And, I'm not talking about the fact that the chasers left it a bit too late to "make the calculation" as Sean Kelly would say, to catch the breakaway.  I am of course talking about the "Curse De Pance", because I totally tipped Bouhanni for the win yesterday.  So who is this Marco Canola who was the lucky rider today? 

Well, to be honest I have no idea, but he does share a name with a popular cooking oil.

Or as UK readers will know it, RAPE!

But let's face it, it doesn't really matter who won.  The most important thing is that I got the most points.
