FTDF 2016 Stage 7 - Cummings Wins

That Steve Cummings - or Cummy as I like to call him - is a canny one. On those intermediate days he knows how to play it. And so he got Dimension Data stage win number 4 and was this pleased with himself.

Lest we forget, there's more to the Tour than just the riders. Its the spectators also help make the race the biggest annual sporting event in the world. Whether its cheering on the riders, grabbing freebies from a truck, throwing piss at Chris Froome or unplugging that big inflatable thing at 1km to go.

My boy Adam Yates - or A-Yay as I like to call him - was hit by the aforementioned deflating 1km inflatable thingy, and landed on his face. But at least the Commissares took pity on him and let him keep the gap he had before the unpleasantness and so moved him up to second on the overall.

Onto the scores and Kings/Queens for the day were those Dales Ditherers.

That darn Drew is still flying high with a satisfyingly round 2000 points, although I like to think that a bad day tomorrow could see it all crashing down around him.

With the weekend coming up, those tour planners have done their best to provide us with a spectacle to admire from our couches. It's got hills and that
.
