FTDF 2016 Stage 6 - Cav Chalks Up Another Win

Hey gang. Remember 2010? It seems a while ago I know, but if you cast your mind back to the early days of this blog, you'll remember a simpler time, when people had MySpace accounts and Alberto Contador had never tasted steak. I mention this, as back in those distant days, Cav would have stage wins coming out the wazoo. If I were Cav right now, I'd get some cream for that wazoo, as he's now won 50% of the stages this year.

He may have the stage wins, but Cav won't be taking that Yellow Jersey from GVA anytime soon.

In the daily scores, let's give a big hand to Ed for beating off Drew today. Lets face it, it's probably only moment of glory he'll get.


In the overall, Drew is stubbornly sticking it out atop the table. I fear the Bile Beans reached their high tide mark when they were second the other day.

The bunch will be hitting the Pyrenees tomorrow. Should be a good one, with all the usual "the Tour wont be won, but it could be lost" cliches applying.
