So lets take a look at Stage 19, it was a last chance for a plucky breakaway to succeed. Saving the race somewhat for Garmin and not bursting into tears (although it was raining pretty hard, so it was difficult to tell) was Ramunas Navardauskas, with a plucky breakaway.
