TDF 2014 Stage 18 - Nobody Can Touch Nibali

As if anyone was going to argue, Vincenzo Nibali once again showed he's the Pope of Tour-Town today.  There were breaks and that, but the GC leader drilled it up the Hautacam and no one could stay with him.

The Pope of Score-Town was the Evil Dr Chan, with a nice Nibali/Bardet combo netting a good haul o' points.  The Bile Beans didn't do too badly either.

There's no shifting Olliepops from the top of the overall and that half-wit Vestan Pance has somehow moved back up to second spot.

With the last day in the mountains now behind us, we have a winner in the KOM competition.  Unfortunately it wasn't me, but I'm a good sport, so well done Mungo, your Bitcoins are in the mail.

There's only 3 stages to go till the race ends in Paris.  With the time trial on Saturday and the inevitable sprint on the Champs Elysees on Sunday, it will be the last chance of a stage win for most.  There'll be plenty of guys trying to get into the break, but it's a flat one, so the sprinters will fancy their chances.
