TDF 2014 Stage 14 - Magic Majka

It's a rest day today, but as you may have noticed, rest days can start a little early here in Pance-Land.  So, before the race starts up again tomorrow, I've still got a couple of Stages to deal with.  Stage 14 is the logical place to start, so here we go.  Our second stage in the high Alps didn't seem too tricky for our man in Yellow, Vincenzo Nibali.

He was content to let some chancers go up the road and then caught all of them except one by the finish line.  Rafa Majka was the man who stayed away and after Contador's exit from the race, he provided a bit of good news for his team and hopefully put a smile on the face of surly team-owner Oleg Tinkoff.

The snappily titled 'Expensive bike pumps due to inflation' were the biggest winners of the day.

The Olliepops continued to lead the overall after stage 14.  And Haxby Pharma continued to fade, allowing know-it-all-nob-end Vestan Pance to get on the bottom step of the podium.

If you are doing the KOM then you may have noticed the Rouleurs are still doing nicely, but Mungo are doing only slightly less nicely.
