TDF 2014 Stage 4 - Kittel Makes It 3 Out Of 4

While I'm sure it's exciting if you're Marcel Kittel, I'm about ready to see someone other than Marcel Kittel winning a stage on the Tour this year.  It was a close one today though with barely a wheel separating the top 3.

In the GC fight, there were no changes, but there was a little scare for the Froome-Dog as he was caught-up in a crash and lost a bit of skin.  He seems alright, but time will tell.

In the scores for the day, ENRICO 666, show that it's all about consistency.  Placing three riders in the top 5 earned Eric more points than the Haxby Pharma Kittel/Sagan double-act.  With a recent run of good form and some guys who might actually score some points in the mountains, ENRICO 666 should not be underestimated.

It may not last, but Haxby Pharma are still hanging on at the top of the overall table.

A quick look at the profile tomorrow might have you thinking that we'd be in for another episode of the Kittel Sprint Show.  A closer look will reveal that there are cobbles to contend with.  And according to the weather forecast, they might be wet cobbles.  The GC boys will be looking to stay out of trouble, but the Classics riders like Cancellara will be looking for a stage win.
