Stage 12 - Evans fists in bunch

It was a fairly quiet day on the Giro today. Till the last 14km or so, then the craziness started. A select group of 10 clipped off the front, among them were Vino, Nibali, Basso, Cunego, Pozzato and Pinotti. Pink jersey Porte was back in the bunch, as was Cadel Evans, who got caught in a  "fisting" episode while trying to get to the front. It was a typical pro cyclist fight and featured a lot more comedy than injury.

The lead group was working hard and managed to keep the bunch at bay by 10 seconds at the finish. It was Italian National Champion Pozzato who crossed the line first, giving Italy its first stage win of the race and giving my team some much appreciated points. I won't be getting any more points from Thomas Rohregger though, as he quit the race yesterday - bugger!

It's nice to see Pozzato winning races, instead of seeing him all oiled-up in that Sidi ad.

Velogames scores are still to come, so let's have a look at stage 13. I've no idea what's going to happen, so I'm not even going to try and guess. It looks like this.
