Stage 14 - Attacks And Tacks Tax Evans

Things were going nicely on today's stage. There was a break up the road, and the rest of the boys were taking it fairly easy a bit down the road. Then some cunt (as Bradley Wiggins would say) threw a load of tacks in the road at the top of the final climb.

There were flats aplenty, and the highest profile casualty was defending champion Cadel Evans.

On man's misfortune is one sneaky Frenchman's opportunity to attack. And so off went Pierre Rolland, forcing the big boys group to ride hard before Evans had a chance to get back on.

In the end though, it all worked out mostly OK. Rolland was caught, Evans got back on, and LL 'cool' Sanchez won the stage.

Over at that there mini-league, no big changes. But the Flaming' Nadgers lead is looking very slim these days. A good day from Return of Reflex or the Bile Beans and it could all be over.
