TDF 2017 Stage 8 - Lilian is the Man

It was a tough day at the Tour today, but the big names mostly kept to themselves and let the breakaway chancers battle for the win. Winning the day was Lilian Calmejane, who certainly deserved it after he managed to hold off the challenge of one-time GC hope Robert Gesink.

Team Emmadillo lead the scores for the day, I think they are part of the Chanbot plan for league domination. Altough I reckon that Danny should really have called them the Emmaroids.

  • I think we all know who's winning the overall. Yes, its TTITT, they have slipped down to 3rd in the big picture though, and there is room for concern with Démare struggling with illness today.

Onto Stage 9 tomorrow then. Looks like it should be a good 'un.

    1. Another one bites the dust. 2/9 riders in The Hopalongs gone....
