TDF 2017 Stage 15 - Bauke Breaks Free

Good old Bauke Mollema, he always seemed like a good egg to me, but top 10 GC results aside, he don't win very often. So I was quite chuffed to see him win on the way to Le-Puy-en-Valey.

There's just one week left to go in the Tour, and it's still tight at the top, with half a dozen riders still in with a chance of the overall win. It should be noted though, that there's a Time Trial still to come and Froome is the fastest of the bunch against the clock.

Peter Sagan may have been kicked out of the race, but his Inflatable Pink Flamingo lives on in the league. Today they tied with Team Moncur for top stage scores

TTITT's reign of terror at the top of the table is over, as Barmbyworld's reign of terror begins.

Stage 16 looks to be mostly downhill, which should be a nice way to ease back into the action after the rest day.

  1. Enjoying the commentary as usual Nick. Not sure Barmbyworld's reign of terror will last terribly long. Hoped that Van Avermaet might win 16 and Martin would keep up on GC but ... Oh well.

  2. Indeed great commentary here, gives an additional part of the Tour to look forward to.
Flamingo's win in 15 all the more impressive with three riders out.
