TDF 2017 Stage 18 - Barguil Bargone

Team Sunweb have been doing quite well lately. Two stage wins from Matthews and now his roomie Warren Barguil has won two stages too, (he really should have done his jersey up though).

Such is the team's success, I even looked up what the sponsor actually did (it's package holidays if you are wondering). While Barguil was taking the win, the GC contenders were scrapping away a little bit down the road. A bit of GC leapfrogging occured, but Froome never looked too bothered, and looks set to be on the top podium step in Paris.

Barmbyworld are riding high in the stage scores once again, but I'd like to give a special mention to Team Harrison Super Domestiques. They are ruthlessly guarding the Lantern Rouge spot in the overall and with that goal in mind, they truly excelled themselves with 0 points today - well done!

Still Barmbyworld then......

Stage 19 is another one of those mostly downhill affairs and with Kittel out of the way, Matthews should fancy his chances. I'm hoping for my boy Boasson Hagen to get it though, he's been close on so many stages and I want to score at least a few points before the race is over.
