TDF 2017 Stage 16 - Matthews Muddles Through

Yesterday I told you that Stage 16 was mostly downhill. Which was mostly true, if you ignored that big climb at the start. Marcel Kittel was unable to ignore the climb and was soon out the back, leaving Micheal Matthews free to win the stage.

Flying high in the scores for the day, it's the Flying Hutchmen.

Stage 16 might not have gone exactly how Clive wanted, but Barmbyworld are still looking comfortable on top for now.

Stage 17 packs in plenty of climbing and with several riders still with a shot at the podium the pressure is likely to be on from the start.
