Fantasy Giro Stage 6: Cav Slices Through in Margherita

Spint finish.  Cav won.  Not much went on with the GC.

Well that was one of the easiest reports I’ve had to do in a while.  Let's take the time we saved to remember Wouter Weylandt, who died on the race two years ago.

Who scored well today then?

The overall is still in the hands of MDR.  The two-pronged sprinting attack of Cav and Goss has paid off in the first week, but there's only a few more chances for the sprinters in this year's Giro.

Tomorrow is a right lumpy one.  Maybe a break will be able to stay away.  I hear there are a fair few KOM points up for grabs, so some smart riding could see someone take over the Jersey from Visconti.
