Giro 2017 Stage 8 - Gorka No Porker

While we were all waiting for Stage 9 and all the Blockhaus action, it turns out that Stage 8 wasn't that boring after all. There were breaks, climbs and spills, but in the end Gorka Izagirre took the win.

Bigging out on points today were Fulford Pharma..... I was trying to find a way to make fun of them, but instead got distracted by this list of the Sebadoh albums, (TLDR, Harmacy is pretty good, Bubble & Scrape is better and Bakesale is best).

Who cares about Stage scores anyway? The overall scores is where the prestige lies, and there's a new King in town. His name? Vestan Pance.

Stage 9 is just around the corner and as I may have mentioned before, it goes up the Blockhaus climb.  Which is big and steep. So we might have a new race leader this time tomorrow. As long as he's in my team, I'm not fussed who it is.
