On the flatter stages, the sprinters teams can usually be relied upon to bring the bunch back together in time for the finish. That doesn't stop a few brave souls going on the attack though. Today Kozonchuk and Fonzi were the riders up the road for much of the day. Alas, it wasn't to be Happy Days for The Fonz when they got caught with 8km to go.

It was happy days for me though. Caleb Ewan won his first Grand Tour stage and earned me some points in the process.
