Fantasy Vuelta Stage 2: Degenkolbelled

Young German John Degenkolb is quite the up and coming sprinter, but he has to share a team with young German Marcel Kittel, who is also quite the up and coming sprinter. Argos-Shimano decided to put their Tour de France eggs in a Kittel-shaped-basket, as Degenkolb had a busy Spring, but things didn't turn out so well, as poor Marcel got a bad case of the shits just before the race started and the team came away from the Tour empty handed. Things seem to be going better for the boys in white in Spain though, as Degenkolb took his first Grand Tour win today.

So far, so good for the Bile Beans. As they sit atop the table once again. It's only stage 2 though, so who really cares apart from that Vestan Pance? And we all know what a bell-end he is.

Not a day for sprinters tomorrow, one for the climbers in fact. The hills could be harder, but it's an uphill finish, and if you aren't among the top 10 in the finishers, you're probably not going to be winning the race this year. I bet that wanker Vestan Pance is hoping for Froome, Contador, Rodriguez, Talansky and Quintana to be up there, oh and Kevin Seeldrayers too. Who knows, maybe Castroviejo can even keep hold of the race lead.
