Giro 2018 - Mount Etna (Insert Volcano Pun Here)

Stage 6 was the first big mountain of the race, and Mount Etna didn't disappoint. After a big break was allowed up the road for a while, the race kicked off in earnest in the last 15km. Holding on from the break for the win was Esteban Chaves, who was just ahead his teamie, Adam Simon Yates, who did enough to take over the race lead.

Of course Chaves is not to be confused with overlooked 90's alt-rockers Chavez.

Even more impressive than Mitchelton-Scott's 1-2, was the Caio bangers'es 1-2-3.
That douche-canoe Vestan Pance is still winning the overall though.

Stage 7 would appear to me to be a sprint, so fingers crossed for Viviani as long as he can make it over that lump near the end.
