FTDF Stage 9 - Degenkolb Conquers Cobbles

It's been a tough few years for John Degenkolb. He was just about to be the next Sagan...... then it all went wrong when he was hit by a car out training and his finger nearly fell off. He seems to be back on top now, and he still has all his fingers.

Spills were predicted today, and the cobbles didn't disappoint. Although, truth be told Little Richie Porte didn't even make it as far as the cobbles before he crashed out of the race.

According the scores that Danny sent me, the Chanbots did best today. And the Bile Beans didn't do so well, the loss of Ritchie Porte has made a bad situation even worse.

We can all put our feet up for a while, as it's the rest day tomorrow. Things get going again on Tuesday, with Stage 10. I predict a not sprint.
