FTDF Stage 11 - GT Wins GT Stage and Leads GC

Those sprints from the first week seem a distant memory now, as the race has become a bit more lively GC wise as we hit the Alps. There were some cheeky breaks from the likes of Valverde and Dumoulin, but at the end of the day, Sky were in control and Geraint Thomas finished it off for them nicely, taking the win and the race lead.

The Dudes must have been saving the good stuff for the mountains, they got a lot a points.

As one of the few riders in my team who is earning me any points its good to see GT doing well and maybe emerging from the shadow of Froome. Still there's a long way to go and the Welshman does have a tendency to fall off. There's no falling off the top spot for the History Boys though.
