Vuelta Stage 6 - Tomasz Cooks

There was more success for those breakaway chancers at the Vuelta today. In pole position was Pole Tomasz Marczynski.

Not far behind were most of the GC contenders........ Except for Teejay Van Garderen, who seems to have a knack for going pretty well in the first week, before some kind of misfortune becomes him. This time he fell off twice in the last 40km, but he didn't actually lose too much time. I'm guessing he's saving his big collapse for some time after the first rest-day.

For them stage scores, there was only one point in it, but Drew got the better of Warwick.

No prizes for guessing that Mungo is still ahead overall. I think Enrico 666 may be closing in though.

  • I'm not sure what to make of Stage 7. Is it a sprint? One for the breakaways? Come back tomorrow to find out.
