It was a sprint then. One that Marcel Kittel won, to make the talented German the first double stage winner of this year's race.




As on Stage 1 though, his moment of glory was somewhat overshadowed. First it was the bus thing. And today it was a Mark Cavendish and Tom Veelers colliding thing. Cav missed out on a possible win and Veelers hit the deck.
That's sprinting for you. The Charmers did nicely for the day, not well enough to shift the Chanbots though.

Time for a time trial tomorrow. One for Tony Martin I think, if he's healed-up a bit after his Stage 1 crash that is. I think we can also expect the Froome-Dog to put in a good ride to try and put a bit more distance between him and the rest of the field.
