Fantasy Giro Stage 10: Riggy Beats Wiggy

After the first week of pissing about, the race finally got started today as the Giro hit the mountains.  The TeamSkyProCyclingTeam Team aimed to put some pressure on Nibali and so Sky sent one of their Colombians, Rigoberto Uran up the road,  and as no one was too bothered about chasing him, he got the stage.  I'm not convicted by the "Riggy" nickname that Uran seems to have on the Sky bus.  I'd like to start a campaign to get his nickname officially changed to "The Uranator". Who's with me?

I think the plan was for Wiggins to stick to Nibali like glue and then stick it to him, but he seemed to have slightly less adhesive power than a Post-It.  Bradley seemed to have trouble on the steep stuff, he dropped off the main group and although he limited his losses pretty well, Nibali put yet more time into him, while the Uranator overtook his team-mate to slip into third overall.  I reckon all that stands between Nibali and the top step of the podium in Breschia is a bad day.  Since he's not in my team, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Trailing behind the Uranator, there were assorted Bile Beans in 7th-10th  and 12th place.  That's not really what I was hoping for, more mid-table mediocrity for me.

If my counting skills are still intact, tomorrow will be stage 11.  More hills, but that one at the end doesn't look too tough to me.  Well actually, it's steep but not very long. If J-Rod was riding he'd be good for a wager.  He isn't though, so buggered if I know who'll win.
