Vuelta Stage 19 - TDG wins VAE Stage

It only took 19 Stages, but a Bile Bean finally made it into the break! They didn't win of course, but at least Jarlinson Pantano gave it his best shot, even if he was beaten to the line by this guy.

In the Stage scores, it's Mungo!

There's no stopping the Kloefekappers. For now............

Stage 20 sees them go up the vicious inclines of the Angliru. It's steep, and as we have already established, The Froome don't like it steep, (or wet, for that matter). Anyway, if he can just let his team-mates drag him up, the Froomedog should be able to seal his first Vuelta victory tomorrow. According to my calculations, he's got enough time in the bag to survive a bad day.

Veulta Stage 18 - Armee Wins Battle

Another day in Spain. Another day with a big break up the road. And another break without a single Bile Bean in it. I'll tell you who was in it, Sander Armee, that's who.

The top twenty places went to the break then, but there were some fireworks among the GC boys. Contador had a dig or several, Froome hung with him and Nibali lost half the time he gained on Froome yesterday. On a day where none of us were exactly rolling in points, Enrico 666 have the biggest pile of points to roll in.

Jan is still the man overall, though I have to say it's still pretty tight at the top.

Stage 19 could be the last chance for any Bile Beans to get in a break.
